Was responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies for design across all business and product categories of the Godrej group covering product design, packaging design, retail experiences and visual language & communication for Master-brand and Child Brands, working closely with different business teams and Indian and international design houses/agencies and internal design groups of the various companies.

Established the Mumbai branch office of the company and built up a self-sufficient design studio with professionals like designers, engineers and HR offering services in the fields of product design, packaging design, visual communication design and branding, retail design and strategic design partnership.Provided hands on leadership in building a strong business presence by new business development, marketing and client interface, design QA, project management & CRM and so on...Acted as a bridge between R&D, marketing and execution teams of clients and partner departments and vendors providing a portfolio of services to reputed clientele including P&G, Monginis, Cadbury, Milton Global, Hindustan Pencil, Mahindra & Mahindra, Nayasa, Chemito, MIDCO, Pumpwatch Inc, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Eureka Forbes, Parle, Colgate, Marico, PIONETICS, General Mills, Tokehem Kaizen, Crompton Greaves (CG), KS Oils, Bajaj Electricals, Morphy Richards, OTIS etc.Packaging Project won the Business World – National Institute of Design Design Excellence Award for best retail package design for the secondary packaging design of Vicks Cough drops for P&G, 2006.

Initiated & rolled out the Mumbai Branch of Desmania from a single person design office (November 2003) to a design studio in commercial place in Mumbai with a very dynamic & talented team of Industrial Designers, Graduate Engineers, Professional Graphic Designers, HR and Good Support Staff.

Led a team in design and development of new products like seating systems, customized design of non-standard products, value engineering of standard products, vendor development and product data management.

Worked on projects involving product and package design, package graphics design, graphic design and web design.
