I was a postdoc in Dr. David Pagliarini's team in the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology.Work experience -1) Currently collaborating with a chemist group at WashU Medical Center to design probes key to the development of a chemoproteomics approach to profile cell-wide lipid-protein interactions where I am using click chemistry, affinity enrichment, and mass spectrometry. 2) Performed thermal proteome profiling in which I used TMT labeling to conduct multiplexed quantitative mass-spectrometry studies for identifying lipid transporters. Established downstream data analysis workflow using R, and python in Jupyter notebook.3) Implemented targeted lipidomics using LC-MS methods to study lipid metabolism. Performed lipid extraction and used HPLC methods.4) Conducted saturated transposon-mediated genome-wide genetic screening in yeast and analyzed NGS-based amplicon sequencing data.5) Training an undergraduate and leading journal club discussion sessions for graduate students in the Molecular Cell Biology program. Coordinated meetings and presented data to collaborators.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I was a graduate student in Dr. Mike Henne's team in the Department of Cell Biology. Work experience -1) Developed the use of an APEX2-based proximity labeling tool to conduct a global proteomics screen for the study of lipid metabolic factors at membrane contact sites.2) Performed immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, live cell imaging, and image analysis with ImageJ. Used lentiviral transduction to generate stable cell lines, used RNAi knockdown techniques and worked with primary fibroblasts and adipocyte differentiation.3) Performed biochemical techniques such as subcellular fractionation, immunoprecipitation, lipid extraction, and pulse-chase assays with radiolabeled lipids.2) Contributed to numerous projects within my team and also in collaborations outside UT Southwestern.3) Collaborated with core facilities in UT Southwestern to perform electron microscopy and lipidomic studies. 4) Trained an undergraduate student and a lab technician in the conceptualization of projects and basic molecular biology techniques.5) Presented at Department seminars and international meetings including the American Society of Cell Biology (ASCB), and EMBO workshop.
