I am a specialist Anaesthetist working in public practice in Newcastle NSW. My areas of clinical interest include gynae-oncology, colorectal surgery and vascular angio. I hold a Post Grad Cert in Medical Education and I have been a simulation instructor in the HNE Simulation Centre since 2013. As well as developing and teaching courses, I am expert at providing feedback with good judgement and debriefing. From 2014 - 2019 I was an ANZCA Supervisor of Training and I particularly enjoyed coaching trainees experiencing difficulty. In this role I also gained experience with all aspects of recruitment of anaesthetic registrars including writing selection criteria and interview questions, culling of CVs and selection criteria, behavioural interviewing, writing and checking references. I am now a coach for doctors at all levels and in all specialties, providing coaching programs for professional development and on demand coaching sessions for individuals and groups.
