I have worked in the academic sector as an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at the UAM-Iztapalapa. In 2015, I started work activities at INEGI and along this time I developed many tools using data wrangling libraries to improve the generation of KPI and I have scaled many processes for the delivery of public interest information on issues related with crime, victimization and law enforcement. Currently I am working as Head of Department at the INEGI.I work mainly using R for the analysis, processing and generation of relevant information from the DB of the surveys carried out by the directorate. Among other activities, I have participated in information processing competitions such as "Dataton: Your city, Your money" (ADIP) and the Innovation in Transparency Competition (INAI). I exercise and I like to walk. I like spending time with my friends and learning new things.
