• Developed and implemented a recovery plan to address and correct serious service issues, reducing backorders from $500,000 to less than $10,000.
• Reduced temporary workforce by 50%, while improving morale, safety, and reducing turnover.

• Led a high volume 24/7 operation of a $90 million business unit which manufactures disposable baby diapers in a 240,000 sq. ft. facility, employing 430 salaried and hourly associates.
• Successfully disengaged the corporation from a Joint Venture with a Mexican partner, while maintaining service, quality, safety and financial goals.
• Hired a new management staff of direct reports, including the Production Mgr, Engineering Mgr, Quality Assurance Mgr, Logistics Mgr, Plant Controller and HR Mgr and integrated the facility into the Tyco culture.
• Developed and introduced a Continuous Improvement program of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Cost Reductions, that resulted in savings of $1.9 million in 2004.
• Through plant consolidations, successfully increased the capacity of the facility from 6 to 12 production lines.

• Led the Finance and IS groups of an $85 million dollars business unit which manufactures disposable medical devices in a 300,000 sq. ft. facility, with more than 1,700 employees. Managed budgets, forecasting and.
• Key player in the successful move and integration of 3 manufacturing sites that were transferred from the United States into the Mexican facility.
• Combined the accounting, payroll, and Information Systems functions of two facilities into one organization, becoming the Controller of the combined business unit with more than $200 million in annual sales.
• Temporary assignment at the European Headquarters in London to help organize and implement a budget process for 13 manufacturing locations throughout Europe.

• Consolidated US-Mexico financial statements, performed financial reporting, budget planning, risk management, cash flow management, cost accounting, payroll, and import-export functions.
• Instrumental in minimizing the tax exposure resulting from a 3-year TCMP audit by the IRS, and a 2-year audit conducted by U.S. Customs Service.
• Key participant in starting three "Twin-Plant" operations in Mexico.
