The DSFS is a memorial scholarship founded and personally endowed by Leo in honor of his mother at Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business focused on empowering women seeking a Master's of Real Estate Development (MRED) at ASU's prestigious transdisciplinary program. The mission of the scholarship is to elevate the representation of women in leadership roles in a historically male dominated industry that Leo has had the privilege of working in for two decades.

Leo led a staff of strategic service professionals across the SFR value chain while developing and executing Mynd's capital deployment, property management growth, and partnership strategies for the Institutional division.

Leo led a tech enabled global operation of 300+ real estate professionals laser focused on providing the most timely and accurate home valuations. During his tenure, Leo managed over $8B of property acquisition capital. His pricing operation was directly partnered with the internal machine learning, engineering, product, econ, data science, and business intelligence cross-functional tech teams.

Leo stood up and led Zillow's first Business Agility team that was responsible for strategically & rapidly scaling the geographical ops footprints of Zillow Offers, Zillow Closing Services, and newest service offering across all of Zillow Group's business lines nationwide.  In this role, Leo was one of a few media spokespeople for Zillow Offers and enjoyed the opportunity of representing the company's newest (at the time) business line (ZO) in live interviews, televised commercials, conferences, podcast, major media features, and radio.Leo was a founding member of Zillow Offers leadership team and had the privilege of spearheading the hyper expansion into 25 major US markets in record setting time in the proptech space (less than 2 years). His instrumental leadership led the hiring efforts of 450+ new employees that unlocked $1B+ of dollars in RE transactions in year 1 of existence.

Institutional consultative relationship management of local & national enterprises across all Real Estate asset classes. Client base consisted of commercial brokerages, REITs, law firms, private equity, consultants, investment managers, family offices, developers, asset managers, banking institutions, insurance companies, SFR firms and i-buyers.

As the AZ region designated broker, Leo also oversaw the western U.S. Investments team with a staff and offices in 5 states. During his tenure he managed the capital deployment of single family residential investments.As a founding member of multiple western markets, Leo personally acquired the first assets outside of the founding state of CA and played an instrumental role in rapidly scaling the business from it's days as a small start-up to going public in 2014. The organization grew exponentially to 600+ employees in 7 states and over 18,000 homes nationwide in 3 years. In preparation of going public, Leo created the policy & procedure acquisition polices and manual to ensure SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) SEC compliance. While leading the investment team, he also partnered very closely with the tech teams on enhancing the acquisition workflows and user interface experience of the proprietary cloud based, mobile enabled platform that managed all phases of the business and value chain.
