Responsible for developing EMC engineering and test solutions for our global customer base and broadening our VRES V&V service offering. Working with the wider commercial, VRES and executive leadership teams to build strategies, prepare compelling propositions, establish strong partnerships and support sustained growth of the business.

Working in the EMC/RF space within the vehicle delivery team, this role involves working closely with automotive clients to deliver projects within set budgets and timeframes whilst also supporting the business to expand services to cater to additional automotive testing and certification requirements in the near future.

Responsibilities included leading a team of RF engineers, project planning and delivery to meet annual revenue targets, resource scheduling, liaising with commercial teams for accurate quoting, advising lead-times & ECDs for monthly forecast generation, maintaining laboratory documentation, asset management, providing regulatory RF consultancy to customers, supporting audits to uphold accreditation status, primary technical point of contact for RF related queries both internally & externally.

Responsibilities included verifying RF performance of various products to global regulatory wireless standards, working alongside clients/design engineers to resolve product performance issues, writing SOPs and test plans. Also championed new test standards, performed technical training and assisted commercial teams.

Role involved working on many RF technologies and products, testing them for compliance with various RF standards in different markets. Specialised in conductive and radiative Tx & Rx tests in screened rooms and anechoic chambers. Prepared test reports and developed a hands-on approach to debugging/troubleshooting non-compliance.

Undertook the design and development of a UHF amplifier, high order digital FIR filter and an algorithm to detect and filter intermodulation products in the MWA system.
