CurrentCFA Operation Management : Appointing and managing CFA (Carry and Forwarding Agent) operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and performance expectations. Inventory Management and Control: Overseeing inventory management by controlling factors like inventory days, SLOBS (Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock), stock outs, and aging. Validating inventory norms and implementing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems. Freight Management and Optimization: Selecting transporters, negotiating freight contracts, and conducting reverse auctions for freight optimization. Managed freight costs within budget, ensured timely delivery, and utilized vehicles effectively. Vendor Management and Performance Evaluation: Managing relationships with vendors and service pro Stock Accuracy and Optimization: Maintaining high stock accuracy through rigorous tracking and control measures, optimizing CFA space utilization by managing stock movement effectively. Inventory and Budget Control: Monitoring stock aging, damaging goods, and excessing inventory while maintaining budgetary control to ensure cost-effective deliveries. Compliance and Process Implementation: Ensuring compliance with WGP and all statutory requirements, implementing processes to enhance warehouse management, safety, and security. Pull-Based Replenishment and Distribution Network Design: Designing cost-effective distribution networks to minimize lead times and managing dynamic inventory based on MRP norms, including generating auto-replenishment plans and managing pull orders. Advance Operating plan – AOP – summarizing the performance of outgoing year and identifying the white space for cost optimization, service improvement and system enhancement for coming 3-5 years. Strategic Space Assessment and Infrastructure Upgradation: Conducting comprehensive space assessments and planning infrastructure upgrades to align with projected business growth, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.
