As a vital member of the Project Management Team, my role entails providing steadfast support to the existing Human Resource team within the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) for the Uttarakhand Workforce Development Project. Within this capacity, I am entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities, including: Crafting site-specific project plans that meticulously outline construction progress, projected timelines, and comprehensive risk assessments, complete with robust mitigation strategies. Collaborating on the formulation and execution of building handover procedures, spanning the phases of construction, work execution, and post-construction handover. Facilitating seamless coordination with Environment Specialists and Social/Gender Specialists to ensure the enforcement of stringent environmental and social safeguards throughout the construction process. Spearheading the meticulous preparation of essential documentation essential for the procurement of Works, extending support to the SPIU and Civil Construction Agencies by crafting and disseminating bidding documents, specifications, cost estimates, work schedules, and evaluation criteria during the execution of NCBs. Cultivating the procurement and contract management acumen of construction agency personnel through dedicated capacity-building initiatives. Regularly generating comprehensive monthly progress reports that encompass procurement activities, project financials, and ongoing project advancements, all presented in formats compliant with World Bank standards and expectations.

As management consultant while working with Town Planning and Valuation Department, Govt of Maharashtra. As an Architect -Urban Planner for Jabalpur & Shillong Smart City and working in the areas of urban infrastructure planning, urban planning. My roles and responsibilities as an Architect — Urban planner are: Responsible for managing the development of various projects from conception to completion. Conducted site analysis, feasibility studies, and provided recommendations for land use and development strategies. Prepared project proposals, budgets, and timelines, and ensured that projects were completed on schedule and within budget.  Developed infrastructure plans, proposals and DPRs for Identified Projects Coordinated and led teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that project design and construction adhered to regulations and standards. Coordinated with government agencies and stakeholders’ officials for project betterment and Project Planning & Management and to secure necessary permits and approvals. Conducted community engagement activities to gather input from stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into project design. Managed project budgets, contracts, and procurement processes. Developed and implemented policies, procedures, and best practices to improve project management processes and increase efficiency.

The Urban Infrastructure Specialist based at Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala and under the overall supervision of the Commissioner (DMC) & MD Cum CEO, had carried out the following tasks: Lead infrastructure development projects for Dharamshala Municipal Corporation and Smart City, ensuring that project objectives and targets are met within the established resources, systems, and processes. Provide expert advice on issues related to project preparation and development, including project identification, preparation, appraisal, negotiation, launch, supervision, audit, and completion, as well as ex-post reviews. Proactively manage the assigned project portfolio to ensure that it achieves its objectives and targets, identifying and resolving any issues affecting project delivery in a timely and professional manner, in consultation with project stakeholders. Oversee design development, implementation, supervision, and oversight of large-scale network and non-network infrastructure development projects in urban areas, including water supply, drainage, waste water, sewerage, transportation and traffic, roads, flyovers, and other city-level infrastructure projects. Review technical and financial tenders for the award of contracts for financed programs and projects, providing guidance to Executing Agencies and beneficiaries for timely implementation. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, including those related to environmental sustainability and social impact. Collaborated with government agencies, private sector entities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and implementation of infrastructure development projects. Provide knowledge support—including presentation of regional best practices—relating to project management, monitoring quality of construction, good procurement practices, PPPs etc.Provided technical support in preparation for Smart City proposal Dharamshala, Preparation of PMAY DPR & DPR’s of other projects.
