•Inspect material like casting, forging, pipes, flanges, fittings & hardware’s etc.•Day by day coordinating with Clients Rep. and vendor for Quality Controlling and Production Progress. •Review Client Specification.•Review WPS and Welder Qualification.•Witness & Recording Welding Parameter on the Welding Execution.•Material and MTC verification as per Client Specs and Code.•Witness Welder Procedure Qualification Test, Witness Mechanical Test. •Review Non Destructive Examination Procedure.•Review Radiography Film. •Review Non Destructive Examination Reports. •Responsible for in process inspection, assembly inspection, final inspection & outside inspection at the vendors.•Witness and monitoring hydro testing, Pneumatic testing Valves, Bellow Seal Valves, Steam Trap, Fabricated Jobs.•Responsible for verification of ISO quality management system, welder performance qualifications and Mechanical and destructive tests. •Preparing QAP/ITP.•Inspection & Documentation for Export and PED Orders. •Witness Helium Leak Testing for cryogenic services & PED order valves.•Inspection of painting & packing. •Documentation of all certificates for IBR and Bureau VERITAS IBR i.e. raw offering, Final hydro offering, forms III C, IIIA, IVA etc.•Prepare MRB for final submission. •Handling precision instrument for Inspection and maintaining calibration records.•Resolve the quality related issues• Knowledge of standard like IBR regulation 1950, ASTM, PED, ASME SEC. •Inspect all incoming inspection, lay out inspection and final inspection•Attend Kick off meetings, Pre-inspection meetings.• Preparation of quality control documents like Inspection Test Plan, Hydrostatic/Pneumatic Test Procedure, Method statement, Compliance statement, comment response sheet NDT Procedures: RT, UT, PT & VT as per client specification, codes, and standards.• Review and approve sub-contractors inspection test plans and other QC documents for conformance to specifications, codes, and standards and identification of inspection intervention requirements.• Coordinate with different Third Party Inspectors and Authorized inspectors (AI) from inspection agencies like LRA, BV, TUV, SGS, and Client Inspectors.• Allocating jobs for Quality Control Inspectors & other Technicians.• Conducting inspection at Fit‐up, Welding stages & witnessing Non‐Destructive Testing ( PT, UT, VT), Final Dimension check, Pneumatic Testing, and Hydrostatic Testing to verify product conformity and full compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, codes & standards, and project contract documents.• To advise on repair techniques, material selection, welding procedures, inspection & testing requirements for routine plant-related problems, and finalization of daily, weekly & monthly inspection reports.• Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Welder Performance Qualification Record (WPQR), and Welder continuity Record as per ASME SEC IX & AWS D1.1.• Witnessing Mechanical testing & reviewing lab test reports of procedure and performance qualification for acceptance.• Selection of Welding Process and Welding Consumables.• Incoming Inspection of Pipe, plates, flanges, fittings, & other materials.• Familiar with most of the welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, SAW.• Conducting boroscope to verify root penetration/reinforcement for critical welds.
