• Developed a novel High-Efficiency Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (HE-SPPS) method that involves the use of a new low-cost deblocking cocktail, low-cost in situ carbodiimide based activation method, optimized washing and ultrafast automation leading to significant gains in product purity along with only a 4 minute cycle time and a 90% reduction in total chemical waste• Introduced efficient microwave based methods in solid phase peptide synthesis: N-terminal modification; side-chain modification; head-to-tail cyclization; first amino acid attachment/resin loading to hydroxymethyl, chlorotrityl and sulfamylbutyryl resins; couplings involving N-Methyl amino acid residues and other non-natural hindered amino acids; PNA synthesis; branched peptides; peptoid synthesis etc.• Expertise in method development and optimization for difficult and long peptide synthesis
