Mumbai as Senior Manager – Technical, heading high Performance Coatings (HPC) and General Industrial (GI) Significant Contribution: Developed entire fast moving range of Non Ameron product for local market, for competitive offering of high performance industrial coatings, this helped in significant business growth and overall profitability. For GI introduced stoving enamels and barrel enamels with significant cost reduction in the formulation for cost competitiveness, resulted in significant business opportunity. Developed low cost enamels and quick drying enamels for bulk players.

Atul Limited – Polymers Division (formerly Cibatul Limited), a Rs. 3000 Crs. Lalbhai Group company is Indian leader in manufacture of epoxy resins and hardeners. Cibatul limited, Separated from Ciba Specialty Chemicals in 1996 (after 27 years JV) and started marketing Epoxy products under Lapox brand name. Responsible for the Business development in India and overseas, to attain overall customer satisfaction, along with the Improvement in sales and profitability, by offering prompt and customized product support. This includes;• Offering tailor made and customized solutions to customers with accurate and prompt product engineering.• Technical correspondence and recommendations.• Directions to R & D to develop customized new product meeting site conditions.• Supporting and developing applicators for product trial conduction and getting Lapox in specification.• Research on new chemistry and new applications for product differentiation.• Business development for Air Products business (advanced curing agents for Epoxy systems).• Co-ordination and proper alignment between sales, marketing and development.• Complaint handling and Trouble shooting at the customer’s end.Significant Contribution: When joined Cibatul in July 1996, the JV between Atul Limited and Ciba Specialty chemicals was terminated.
