Being a Technical Developer for Development had key responsibilities like • Understanding the Functional requirements of business to design Objects (Reports, Applications, Tables, Business Views, Processing options…etc.)• Implemented the Code review check list, High level design and technical design documents to keep a track of the development done on the respective objects.• Performed the Unit testing on the Objects after the promotion on the respective environments by preparing the test cases to understand the functionality of the object• Implemented the enhancement of Objects and also the bug fixing as per the functional requirement and also retrofitting of objects of all environments (APAC, EMEA, NA, Brazil and SA) from 8.12 to 9.2 as per the Functional requirement.• Proactively participated in upgrade support calls and provided my inputs if required and helped the client resolving the issues encountered during the upgrade.• Provided on-call and technical support during the GO-LIVE period and been on top of resolving issues during the periodBeing a Technical Developer for JDE upgrade from 8.12 to 9.1 (2 Production Environments) had key responsibilities like • Creating missing objects(Applications,reports,tables,business views, processing options, data items) and analyzing Object layouts• Comparing and analyzing event rules for Obsolete code and replacing it with Valid code and assessing outputs and performing the unit testing after promotion• Backtracking difference and making changes accordingly• Creating and fixing Menus (Creating Task view and Task ID's, Comparing and changing properties).
