I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. Previously, I served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. My research focuses on designing and developing novel nanostructured materials for solar energy conversion applications.I am honored to have received the prestigious AICTE Chhatra Vishwakarma Award from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India. This esteemed recognition celebrates my contributions to mentoring and guiding bachelor students in their academic and research pursuits. Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving as a Guest Editor for the Chemosphere journal and the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. I am also an active reviewer for several journals in my field.My achievements have been recognized with the Institute Silver Medal from IIT Kharagpur, India. I have authored over 30 research articles in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, with an average impact factor of 6.5. My educational background includes a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology, a Master of Technology in Cryogenic Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, a Master of Science in Applied Sciences from the College of William and Mary, VA, USA, and a Master of Science in Physics from Garhwal University, Uttarakhand.Currently, my research interests focus on developing highly efficient and stable visible-light-responsive semiconducting nanomaterials for solar energy conversion.
