With 23+ years of experience in the IT industry, I have been involved in building and leading delivery teams, leading large practice organizations and driving transformation with clients globally.An IIT-IIM alumnus, I am passionate about delivering business value to my clients through deployment of IT. I also derive great satisfaction in mentoring and coaching bright young talent. I currently lead IBM's QA practice for the GIC ( Globally Integrated Capability) with centres globally including India, China, Philippines, Egypt, LA, NA, Europe etc. As a part of this role, I am responsible for a) managing the Workforce and Talent Strategy, Talent Development , Operational health and delivery quality of the practice with targets on growth, profitability and quality.b) building , enhancing and managing offerings (with focus on new ones around exponential technologies) including sales collateral, delivery approaches , capabilities , methods and toolsc) managing the development and deployment of the IGNITE Quality platform including collaboration with IBM researchI also consult with clients on their Quality Engineering transformation journey as a consultant.Prior to this, I led the QA practice globally for ITC Infotech and was accountable for growth , profitability as well as drive “future readiness” in terms of new capabilities and differentiated delivery models In my first innings in IBM, I played multiple roles with the QA & Testing practice. I was involved in leading the different QA service areas with accountability for growth, capability and capacity development across all industries. I have personally owned and driven the sales, solution's, setup and delivery of multiple large managed testing engagements for some of IBM's top clients , which delivered significant business value to the clients. I setup IBM's Global Test Factory from the conceptual stage to design and deployment of the model worldwide that became a large testing shared services organization in IBM that delivered testing services across clients in an industrialized model. In previous roles, I have been engaged in large outsourcing deals from start-up to steady state delivery as well as consulting for package implementation and business process re-engineering.
