Job Responsibilities:• Materials under the scope of procurement :- Various grades of polymer resins, masterbatches & films, printing cylinders, inks, adhesives, chemicals, machines & machine spare parts, packing materials, office supplies, service etc. • Executing the functions of procurement department :- Planning, Sourcing, and Vendor management in a cost effective manner & adhering to company’s procurement policy & standards.• Directing, executing & actively tracking the complete Sourcing cycle, which consists of receiving purchase requests from the warehouse / R&D team, validating purchase requests, RFQ process, negotiation (Price, Payment term, Incoterm, Warranty etc.), processing of PO after attaining management approval, tracking of deliveries & order status, collecting the commercial documents from warehouse along with Material Receipt Notes, validating the commercial documents, which need to be in par with the PO, handing over the commercial documents to finance team for booking & further payment process.• Coordinating with finance team for processing of advance/overdue credit payments to vendors, processing of Letter of Credit, tracking shipments & concerned shipping documents routed through banks, pertaining to letter of credit.• Active monitoring of pending orders with overseas vendors, arranging freight (Sea/Air) with forwarding agents & cargo insurance policy for orders executed on Ex-Work term, validating & tracking the shipping documents (Invoice, Packing list, COO, Bill of Lading/AWB & Cargo insurance policy), forwarding the original shipping documents to clearance team & following up for shipment clearance & delivery of materials to warehouse.• Handling functions related to Vendor Management :- Vendor qualification & Performance evaluation, manage contracts, timely deliveries, resolving any issues with vendors with regards to damaged goods, rejection claims, warranty claims etc.

• Materials under the scope of procurement : Various grades of metallic & non-metallic tubes & solid bars, lathe, milling, drilling & honing tools, coating chemicals & paints, machines, equipments & spare parts, various grades of oil, packing materials, sub-contracting services etc.
