Customer engagement mainly involves understanding customer requirements, product overview, product roadmap, planning deliverable based on different milestones of the project, finalizing the feature list, feature clarification and bug tracking until start of production (SOP) and start of sales(SOS).With development teams activities mainly involves presenting feature walkthrough, creating work slices by mapping the system requirements with project specific requirements in DOORS, feature clarifications and bug tracking with ramp down plans. This involves both offshore and virtual teams across different locations.With test teams activities mainly involves verifying the test specifications considering valid and boundary conditions, following up on type approval requirements and planning and executing the type approval process together with SiriusXM before SOS.Stakeholder engagement, involves creating tasks, CRQ's for the dependent components such as navigation, speech, system, settings, diagnosis, platform, internet, security, etc… and finalizing the functional design approach with lot of brainstorming and negotiation approach.With SiriusXM team on library related topics such as usage of certain interfaces, reporting issues identified in library during implementation, getting the fix plan details and co-ordination during type approval process.

As part of HMI Abstraction Layer (HAL), developed multimedia components like DISC, USB, XM, iPod playback, Pandora & Stitcher internet radios to support major features like playhead controls, info display, progress bar handling, etc…Developed navigation component to support major features like destination selection, adding waypoints, speller with multiple language support, Traffic, etc…Developed screen sharing component to support some of the features like sharing the headunit screen when paired with smart phone to access some of the phone controls via headunit.Developed internet based tuner components like Pandora, Stitcher to support some of the features like channel info, tune, play head controls, album art, channel logos, progress bar, etc…Involved in debugging of some of the major issues in Bluetooth & storage components.
