- Ductile Iron Pipe Plant Maintenance Expertise: Managing more than 100 cranes & ladles, leading a team of 25+ Employees. - Maintenance Strategy Development: Creating schedules for preventive and predictive maintenance, shutdowns, and overhauls across various equipment, including EOT cranes, Monorails, Hoist cranes and Hot Metal Ladles.- Condition Monitoring & Analysis: Conducting condition monitoring and vibration analysis based on Fast Fourier transformations to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identifying and implementing cost-control modifications in equipment, processes, and consumables.- Audit Experience: Conducted internal and external audits (IMS,9001:2015, 14001:2018, 45001:2018,ISO) with a focus on safety, operational excellence, compliance, quality, and environmental standards.- Process Documentation: Developed and documented over 50 SOPs, HIRA, and SWI for safe and efficient operational and maintenance practices.- Data Analysis for Efficiency: Preparing monthly breakdown reports, analyzing MTBF and EEA trends, and applying WHY-WHY and Root Cause Analysis to enhance equipment efficiency.- Lean Practices: Implemented 5S, Poka-Yoke, and Kaizen principles to boost productivity and equipment reliability.- Contract and Procurement Management: Planning and managing contractual jobs, purchasing requisitions, and budget tracking.- Safety and Sustainability Initiatives: Enforcing safety practices such as hands-free tools and biodegradable solutions and promoting proactive maintenance.- E-Permit System Implementation: Introduced an E-permit system throughout the shop floor.

In this role, I was allocated to various plants, including Ductile Iron Pipe Plant, Spiral Large Diameter Pipe Plant, Coating Plant, Blast Furnace, and Sinter Plant, for specified periods. My responsibilities included:- Gaining in-depth knowledge of the entire process of each plant and identifying the mechanical scope.- Managing and maintaining hydraulic systems, EOT cranes, monorails, and hoists across the plants.- Involved in the commissioning of major projects such as the Thickener Plant, EOT cranes, and rail lines.- Overseeing SAP activities and ensuring smooth integration of mechanical operations within the system.
