• Apigee Edge: In-depth knowledge of building and creating APIs using Apigee Edge, including customizing API proxies, API policies, and API products.• API Development: Skilled in designing and developing RESTful and SOAP APIs, including managing their lifecycles, versioning them, adding security, and producing documentation.• Programming Languages: For the creation and integration of APIs, a strong command of Java, Python, and JavaScript is required.• Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying Apigee Edge and managing API gateways on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.• Security: To enable secure API access, a thorough understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, managing API keys, and other authentication and authorization protocols is required.• Integration: Working knowledge of using connectors and custom code to integrate Apigee with databases, backend systems, and outside services.• CI/CD: Understanding of DevOps concepts, Jenkins, Git, and continuous integration and deployment techniques.• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required to troubleshoot problems, locate performance bottlenecks, and enhance API performance.
