21 years of experience in the IT industry in the areas of Outsourcing and Banking. I am currently working in Hewlett Packard Singapore for the last 14 years. I am passionate about my work and a people oriented manager.My current role is as the project director for the implementation of a private cloud (IaaS) for the Singapore government known as G-Cloud. This is the first private Government wide cloud in the world. G-Cloud will cover all the 90+ Singapore Government agencies, statutory boards and organs of state. All the three phases of G-Cloud have gone live successfully with services delivered to the high standards of IDA. Customers have started coming on board. G-Cloud has incorporated best in class technology solutions and is the first of its kind to implement many of the solutions specially security. I have been involved in the complete life cycle of this project: bid pursuit, solution design, implementation and ongoing operations. I am overall accountable for the project implementation, financial and people management.Prior to this role I was the IT transformation director of infrastructure delivery organization, I was accountable for bringing in service efficiency and improve the service delivery quality for infrastructure services customers in APJ. This was a 3 year Worldwide program with financial savings target of USD 30M in APJ thru reduction of people in the first year. I have also worked as an outsourcing services delivery director, accountable for delivering infrastructure outsourcing services to the customers in South East Asia (SEA). I used to manage shared infrastructure services delivery team in SEA region comprising of both the account managers and infrastructure delivery teams. My team in South East Asia comprised of 500+ people (HP and contractors) with country delivery managers reporting to me.
