• As part of Qualcomm XR Research team, contributed to Qualcomm's Boundless XR solution which enabled next level of immersion on a sleek mobile device by combining all the goodness of mobile XR and PC-tethered XR using a low-latency, high-bandwidth wireless link. The technology was demonstrated by Qualcomm in MWC, Computex, AWE, etc.• Handled overall software architecture, planning & execution of software deliverables including power and latency optimizations• Handled commercialization of the technology by mentoring the new commercialization team

• As part of Qualcomm XR Research team, contributed to world's first 360 degree live streaming from a drone with on-device stitching. It was demonstrated by Qualcomm in CES-2017.• Being software architect for this project, designed and implemented lightweight, modular software framework including implementation of major modules of the camera streaming pipeline, camera sensor bring-up and performance/thermal optimizations

• As part of Windows Phone camera team and being Camera SW POC for few chipsets, contributed in planning and execution of pre-silicon and post-silicon efforts.• Contributed to design and implementation of AVStream, camera sensor, flash & ISP drivers and implemented multiple camera features like zero shutter lag, bracketing, DIS, digital zoom, HFR, etc. for Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, 400, 600 and 800 series• Optimized camera pipeline to reduce boot time driver initialization, camera launch and snapshot latency

• As part of Windows Phone camera team, designed and developed multiple Windows phone 7 camera features in AVStream driver and KMDF drivers for Qualcomm platform.• Designed and developed touch focus feature on Qualcomm platform for Windows Phone 7. I was leading the technical discussions in concluding concurrency aspect of touch focus with regular and continuous focus. I am proud to be the first person to use touch focus feature on Windows Phone.• Being the POC for ISP hardware core driver, was responsible for implementation of multiple ISP related features and execution of pre-sil efforts.

• As part of Deep Packet Inspection project, contributed to design & development of regular expression-based pattern matching engine. Demonstrated the SDK functionality and real time performance by integrating the SDK with Snort (NIDS)• As part of SIP soft video phone project, designed and implemented modules to support new features like call recording, dynamic camera detection & switching, audio stream mixing, AEC, auto reconfiguration of video encoding parameters (like GOP, bit rate, etc.) based on network stats, etc. Received “EXTRA MILE” award recognizing the key contribution to this project.• Being project lead for FFmpeg re-engineering project, took care of identifying CPU intensive modules and mapping data flow between these modules in FFMpeg and x264. Improved performance by replacing these modules with ARM optimized OpenMax development layer library and finished the project well ahead of schedule.
