Sandeep heads up LSEG Group’s Financial Controllership function for the Technology, Corporate and Operations divisions and is part of the Finance Leadership teams led by the CFOs of these divisions as also the Extended Finance Leadership team led by LSEG's Group CFO. He partners closely with LSEG’s divisional CFOs in supporting the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Leadership of Corporate Functions (Risk, HR, Finance, Legal, CoSec, Corporate Affairs & Marketing) and assisting with strategic decisions requiring financial input. He is responsible for reporting divisional and relevant entity financial performance and cost control as also driving standardisation, automation and process improvements globally. Sandeep leads a team across multiple global locations in a matrix environment and is responsible for training, mentoring and developing a diverse set of professionals. He leverages his operational experience and global network to implement and maintain a robust record-to-report mechanism, in compliance with relevant international accounting and internal control guidelines. This includes directing wider finance organization, external outsourced partners, external professional consultants as also ensuring alignment with external auditors on matters that are significant to ensuring the integrity of the financial results reported to LSEG’s investors, regulatory authorities and others. Sandeep started his career with KPMG India where he qualified as an accountant. In 2006, Sandeep joined the Group Finance team at Reuters in India eventually moving to London in 2009. Over the last 18 years, Sandeep has executed several "center of storm" roles through Reuters’ evolution to a London Stock Exchange business.
