• Provide routine maintenance engineering & troubleshooting support for Honeywell Experion & TDC DCS systems.• Prepare & maintain control system documentation such as network drawings & architectures.• Assess & implement cyber security standards & maintain system security with help of SolarWinds, Risk manager, EPO & Nexpose.• Maintain full systems administration of all nodes at & below DMZ & support to resolve communication issues with BLAN working with local IT for reports to corporate.• Maintain systems performance monitoring on a regular basis & fix issues to ensure smooth operation of the system.• Implement & maintain system related DCS tags, alarms, logic & operator displays.• Interface with switches, computers & instrument system vendors & technical support services to establish communication between them.• Support & maintain all the Process Control Computing Environment such as Virtualization, Experion PKS, TDC, Thin Clients, Uniformance, Dynamo, EBR, Domain Controllers etc.• Interface with technical & non-technical personnel in proposing & implementing control system projects & upgrades.• Develop and assist in development of plans for future control systems up grades & associated computer systems, equipment & software's.• Actively participate in the development, design, FAT, SAT & commissioning of new DCS systems or modifications to existing systems.• Provide startup assistance & control modifications for new projects & turnaround on need basis.• Provide technical support to construction, startup personnel on need basis.• Develop & review control logic on DCS systems.• Initiates, evaluates & leads management of changes (MOC).• Participate in Incident Investigations & cause maps.• Maintain spare parts inventory, perform assessment of needed hardware's & provide list for budgeting & ordering.

Designing of logics and control strategies using P&ID for complete working of DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant which includes controlling of daybins, Kilns, Conveyors, Weigh feeders, and batch control for the same.• Building HMI Graphics in PPB, configuration of reports, trends, MIS (Historian), alarms and logs.• Setup of complete server and client workstations which includes engineering, DCS installation, allocation and diagnostics and HMI software installation, Licensing, establishing redundant LAN network, Communication between servers and DCS using C-net (Proprietary Data Highway), etc.• Establishing Modbus Communication between DCS and other third-party devices using RS-485 for information exchange.• Checking of logics for completeness and successful working of Captive Power Plant which included many CLCS and OLCS, and sequence controls.• Preparation of various Project Engineering Documents – System Configuration, Bill of Material, I/O List, Cabinet/Console GA, Wiring Drawings, Loop Drawings, FAT Procedure, etc.• Preparation of Functional Design Specification, studying techno-commercial documents and NOA (Notification of award) for preparing scope of Supply, Hardware Design and IO allocation (IO capacity, critical loop consideration, OLCS, CLCS, double and triple redundancy considerations for deciding on no. of communication cards, Controllers and IO cards, Response Time checking for logics and cards)• Preparation of various Project Engineering Documents such as System Configuration, Bill of Material (BOQ, OS-OD), IO allocation and listing, System, Marshalling and Relays cabinet GA design, inter panel and Field Wiring details, Charger calculation based on system loading, Pre-FAT, FAT, SAT Procedure and Planning.
