Innovation and Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship, IICE is a Technology Business Incubator of IISER Bhopal sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India for supporting the institutional start-up activity for its own alumni as well as aspiring start-ups and entrepreneurs from the society.My job is to conduct events such as seminars, workshop and competitions to encourage entrepreneurial ecosystem at IISER Bhopal and its vicinity. Being Innovation Manager and with additional responsibilities of Incubation Manager at IICE, IISER Bhopal, my specific duties are:1. To identify and select potential incubatees/startups and to attract the same for incubation program2. To assist startups in the business strategies, plan of action, monitoring progress, financial forecasts and fund assessment, company registration and networking3. To frame and finalize facility usage agreements for incubatees4. To develop and maintain network with government bodies, investors and build a mentoring relationship through the mentor pool, in order to support IICE-TBI and the incubated startups5. To make and submit the progress reports to the funding agencies and government bodies and to promote brand name of IICE-IISER Bhopal among all incubators at academic institutions in India.
