As the Design Leader for the organization, I handled the design verticals of 2 service accounts, 3 in-house products and steered the design-first culture of the organization. Under my leadership from offshore, the design org. went out of the regular way of service intakes to new Account mining Pre-Sales methods like Prototype & Pitch. This approach combined with unconventional delivery methods played a pivotal role in bringing about a record ROI in the revenue stream during the fiscal 2022-23.

I co-founded and headed the Ops of a ‘For-Profit Social Impact Startup'. I envisaged the project and product design, the distributed manufacturing process, product management, market research and aligned the process orientation of the whole initiative. As a Strategist, I innovated in ‘DIGITAL for RURAL INDIA’ by designing an ERP for this Social Impact Startup which aimed at Rural Women Empowerment.

I played a cross-functional role - that of a Design Strategist and Product Manager by working from both Pre-Sales and Delivery standpoints respectively. As the sole-owner of UX in the business-facing team, I was in charge of organization’s Presales Initiative of ‘Strategy as a Service’ offering. I was also instrumental in client’s account mining with a proven ROI of 1.5x. I was among the top 30 of a 700 headstrong organization.

I was the owner of the Product Branding and the Mobile apps’ UX of the task management SaaS product called ‘Wittybee’. I created the hiring criteria andthe interview process for the Design Team and built the team from the scratch.I erected the branding based on Brand Values and Principles by conducting design thinking workshops with founders and applied it as an org-wide discipline.

As an independent Creative Director, I worked with major agencies of Mumbai like Leo Burnett, Publicis, McCann, Ogilvy, etc. The work was primarily in the realms of Motion Media, Branding, Corporate films, Interaction Design, etc. to oversee the business requirements of the client and provide intuitive and memorable creative solutions which aid them achieve the business goals in in the most substantial manner. I successfully executed 2 ad films during this period. As UX was swiftly foraying, I got myself up-skilled on UX, Film-making and Branding.

I was inducted to the Cisco Creative Resources Communication Project as a Motion Designer on contract. I was the sole owner of Motion Graphics Projects which ranged in budgets from USD 10k to 20k that I managed end-to-end.Later, I was promoted as a Design Engagement Lead. In addition to executing the Creatives, I was handling accounts for US, UK, APJC regions managing bigger scope projects which also included budget handling.

I moved to Mumbai and started as an independent Creative Consultant, working with most mid-level agencies and production houses of Mumbai. Undertook projects (Motion Graphics, Visual Design, Animation and 3D visualization) on a contract basis. I was instrumental in ramping up a 4x turnover hike for 2 small studios in and around Bandra by playing the role of internal team mentor.During this tenure, I have worked on a wide variety of projects of different scales where my skills were tested effectively on different fronts. This was the serious step moving from animation to the Storytelling part, mostly like an invaluable turning point. I got my first few projects on Directing as well, pulling off full timelines of Corporate films.Had numerous opportunities to work with prestigious clients.·

I joined as Faculty - Web Design, 3D and Post-Production. I maintained a credible record of 98% course completion of my students. I got promoted as the Technical Head of the centre and was in charge of all matters pertaining to academics and curriculum. I led a team of 4 Subject Matter Experts and added value through on- premise training partnerships with corporates and educational institutions.

My first job. I was the sole owner of Colorgrafx & Multimedia (C&M) Division of the centre. During my tenure, the centre (already a leader in CAD training services) established itself as a formidable force in multimedia education at a location which was dominated by industry leading competitor. The students of C&M got placed successfully which in turn generated a positive word of mouth and thus generated more business for the centre in the new area of Graphics and Multimedia where it was relatively a new player.
