Remitr was launched as the first fintech to provide cross-border B2B payments to SMBs across Canada. At Remitr, we built a tech platform that offered businesses a better alternative to bank wire transfers and cheques, saving them $$$ in bank fees, currency exchange costs and unwanted trips to the branch.I led the team that launched Remitr in Canada (and previously in U.A.E.), including launch events, driving customer acquisition, partnering with accounting firms, and leading the branding and P.R. for the company.Remitr processed hundreds of millions of dollars annually in 2021. The team was supported by the DMZ Growth Accelerator, part of Ryerson University (now Toronto Met). Remitr won several awards, including the NTT Docomo awards and the BMO startup awards. We also participated in leading industry events like Money 20/20, Collision and the Payments Canada annual conference.

I was one of the founding volunteers of iSPIRT. This product think-tank shaped the platforms that are building India's digital economy today, the most notable of them being UPI or United Payments Interface which is part of India Stack (https://indiastack.org).In the initial years I organisized and curated iSPIRT RoundTables at Mumbai, did marketing for Indias’s first maker conference Innofest in 2015 and steered several other volunteer-driven initiatives. I was also part of the first team of core volunteers who put together Nasscom Product Conclave (NPC) in its first few editions.
