I could never in a million years have guessed where the first three decades of my life would lead me.All I ever thought I'd do was be an elementary teacher my whole life. God sure surprised me!👩🏻🏫 For six years, I was a 4th grade teacher. (Loved those kids!)🗃️ For two of those years, I was also a highly successful Tupperware lady driving one of their brand-new vans in just six weeks. (Sales skills, y’all!)🟪 In 1991, with no real idea of how to run a business, my husband and I registered a business name, bought equipment, and started printing t-shirts part-time. And thanks to our connections, our screen printing business quickly became a success. 🤩 In 1997, D and S Designs went full-time and got certified WBE.📉 In 2008, our sales tanked with the economy. Rather than giving up, we pivoted and added website and marketing services.💚 In 2016, I became an Evernote Certified Expert (still my favorite app!) and started training and consulting on Evernote.🌸 In 2020, locked down during the pandemic, I opened Sandee Solves business advising online to help others benefit from my three decades of business experience.📕 In 2022, I became an author when I wrote a chapter in The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever as part of Mark Schaefer’s RISE community and learned how to run communities well (RISE is great!). I loved my six years at Alloway Township School in southern NJ. My time with those students is still precious to me, but after my daughter was born, I knew I needed to stay home to raise her (and her two brothers who followed.) But I didn't stop teaching.I became a homeschooling mom. I worked from home and schooled my three kids K-12.
