As a Portfolio Manager in the Aegon Asset Management ‘Manager Selection & Monitoring team’, I am responsible for selecting and monitoring external asset managers for the Multi Manager funds (fund of mandate structure). The team is managing roughly €30 billion in assets for institutional clients. Responsibilities of the team include: manager sourcing, due diligence, manager/fund selection & monitoring and portfolio/ risk management. Responsible investing is an important part of the investment process.Within the team I have a special focus on the following asset classes:- US Large Cap equities & US Small Cap equities- Emerging Markets Debt (MM Emerging Market Debt Fund)

Managing the European fundamental equities strategy and the US quantitative equities strategy (AuM € 1.6bn). Both active strategies have a strong focus on investing in sustainable high quality companies. Also project manager sustainability in the Portfolio Management team at DSM Pension Services.

Lead portfolio manager of the European fundamental equities strategy (AuM € 1.4bn) and portfolio manager US equities. The strategy pursues a long only active investment style with a long-term investment horizon selecting attractive investment opportunities using bottom-up fundamental research. ESG integration is an important part of the investment process.

Responsible for in-depth sector and company and ESG research, valuation analysis and stock selection in specific sectors in European markets and North America.

Developing the tactical asset allocation investment process and co-managing the fundamental European equities portfolio.

Responsible for investment advisory services for high net worth individuals.
