I started out at Eurofiber working on the Network Operations Center, monitoring our customer Ethernet network and providing incident management. Within 6 months I moved to the IT Department and became responsible for our internal network and systems. With the IT department being a small team, I have a very diverse work field. I am mainly responsible for Security Management, Problem Management, Change management, Service Level Management and participate in, or manage the bigger internal projects.Some of the projects that I have participated in:- Implementation of ISO 27001 / ISAE 3402- Selection and implementation of new server hardware and virtualization platforms. - Office 365 and Identity Management (Azure AD)- Implementation of Telephony systems- Selection and implementation of Network and Firewall systems.- BSS and OSS software installations and/or upgrades.- Software imaging and Software packaging. - Security Incident Responseand many more.

Created and maintained a network primarily based on Microsoft Windows Server (2000/2003), Red Hat, Suse and Citrix providing services over many WAN connections to our other locations in the entire province. Next to System Administrator work I also did network management on a network mostly consisting of HP and Cisco devices and maintained our Firewall and internet scanning platforms. Furthermore I also provided technical support to our functional administrators for our financial and HR systems as well for our electronic patients information system (EPD).

Amsterdam

At ASZ I was a systems administrator, maintaining Windows servers (NT3.51) with accompanying services like SQL, SMS 1.0 and Exchange 5.5 for the complete GAK-Holding(UWV in current day). Also participated in a large migration project where we updated more then 10.000+ workstations to NT4 workstation.
