Social Enterprise NL advocates for an impact economy in the Netherlands and facilitates the development of social enterprise ecosystems. I currently lead their international project entitled 'Leveraging the Influencing Capacity of Social Enterprises', that aims to assist SEs in pushing the business community towards realizing the SDGs. By applying a systems lens, SEs can identify where they can exercise greater influence on the business community, determine an actionable influencing strategy, and work effectively towards systems change. More information can be found in attached media.This project will be finalized in 2024 in collaboration with our partners: Porticus, Amsterdam Impact, Catalyst 2030, Social Change Innovators, Yunus Social Business, Ashoka, IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, and SEWF.

MOSS is a consultancy and financier that aims to maximize the impact of social entrepreneurs in developing and emerging markets by providing workshops and consulting services built around our systems change expertise.Our capacity-building services draw from complexity theory and paradox theory and are designed to help change agents in their efforts by making systems thinking tools and approaches accessible and practicable. Systems Innovation is an e-learning and collaboration platform supporting systems innovation initiatives globally. I am part of the Core Team of the Amsterdam Hub (currently taking a secondary role from January 2023) and helped it to reboot in 2022. We aim to foster a community of systems innovators and to help them tackle wicked problems by providing them with the right ideas, methods, and tools to operate in a complex environment.

In the Executive Education department of RSM, my role as an LDM entailed two distinct yet correlated objectives: to develop quality business programs for professional mid-to-senior level managers, and, to improve departmental systems of knowledge collection, organization, analysis, and dissemination. ► Program DevelopmentIn this role I focused predominantly on meeting current market needs by co-creating programs with internal and external stakeholders. This included the design, development, and delivery of both open and custom programs; the former are short open-enrollment courses typically of 3-5 days duration while the latter are customized courses of varying duration for specific multinationals. My emphasis was on expanding RSM’s Open Program portfolio with market-relevant offerings.► Systems DesignIn this role I initiated internal projects aimed at improving a plethora of departmental structures and processes that support program development. While originating from personal needs in Open Program development, these efforts have since scaled towards systemic innovations that influence multiple functions in the department. As such, projects have been adopted and adapted by cross-function teams as a means to improving department-wide effectiveness. As a budding change manager in an extremely complex corporate and academic environment, I realized many of these projects to various levels of success. As a Senior Lecturer in the Trade Management for Asia department of the Rotterdam Business School, the international business school of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, I designed and delivered a number of courses, workshops, and trainings. In all of these endeavors I ensured that all stakeholder needs were met while adhering to high-quality didactical standards as a means to delivering positive user experiences. In doing so, I often leveraged instructional technology to increase the scalability and quality - and thereby the effectiveness - of each learning activity. In designing and executing six different core subjects as well as the Honors Program I experienced the importance of co-creation with students, faculty, and staff, and in utilizing technological innovations to meet the expectations of both users and management. My experience in this position provided me with a propensity for discovering the right balance between: stakeholder input and support, course content and innovative didactical design, and long-term curriculum requirements. The Op Stop was a not-for-profit social enterprise that I founded together with some friends during my final semester at RMIT in Melbourne. It consisted of a mobile opportunity shop, The Op Stop van, which collected and sold fashionable second-hand clothing at high school and university campuses as well as inner- Melbourne markets. The objective of the venture was to raise both funds and awareness for tackling social issues amongst Melbourne youths. We did so in collaboration with local partners such as with the Youth Support & Advocacy Service (YSAS) on drugs and alcohol abuse.As the founder, owner, and manager of the company, I was responsible for venture financing, all legal registrations and permits, vehicle logistics, bookkeeping, daily operations management including volunteer scheduling, inventory management, marketing activities, and executing our exit strategy. I managed a small team of volunteers in these areas and oversaw all business activities from entry to exit.
