The prime objective of Product Assurance is to ensure that space products accomplish their defined mission objectives in a safe, available and reliable way.Commitment to quality of the entire organization is key to the Quality of the product and succes of the space mission. Enterprise-wide harmonization of different certification, inspection and testing activities based on accurate analysis and thorough approach and planning. Delegating tasks to expertise holders through agreements on concrete objectives and periodic measurement and discussion of progress and results. Focus on the joint resolution of the underlying (system) causes while challenging and supporting. Result: Integrated Management System for system certification (quality, occupational health, safety, food safety/HACCP, environment and medical care), product certification (personal protective equipment, building materials and information security), certification of persons (home care), inspection medical premises and laboratory tests (textiles, carpets, glass, protective clothing, packaging, medical devices and chemical analysis).Accreditation of these activities by the RvA (Accreditation Council) and monitoring by IWI (Inspectorate for Work and Income).Application management Appenta CRM and AFAS Profit ERP.

Integration of various management systems (ISO 9001/ISO 17025) for research- and laboratory activities regarding mechanical-, chemical- and firesafety testing (currently: Efectis).Coordinating role, working closely with management, to implement a QHSE management system, aimed at creating a learning and improving organization. Monitoring of action plans in consultation with line management, with a substantive role in different fields: QHSE, measurement systems validation, information security (AIVD/MIVD), HS Risk Assessment & Evaluation (RI&E), customer satisfaction, environmental inspections. Exchanging knowledge and experience with quality managers from other knowledge-intensive organizations, such as NLR, ECN, Marin, GeoDelft and WL | Delft Hydraulics and participation in the ISO 9001 certification of BouwQ.

Development and implementation of the management system (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, QS 9000) for research- and laboratory activities regarding full scale crash testing (currently: TÜV Rheinland TNO Automotive International);Standardization of data processing and -presentation of full scale crash tests.
