Triggered by an increased demand of corporate customers, to share the ING’s knowledge and expertise. I created a team to investigate and prove the viability of ING entering the cybersecurity market, using Lean Start-up and Design Thinking methodologies.Results:- Created and sold a learning platform, applying behaviour science knowledge and a novel approach to effectively change employee behaviour.- Demonstrated that security behaviour can be changed with the right online approach.- Validated ING’s right to play in this non-banking market.- Identified one of the major pains in (cyber)securing organisations: the unsafe behaviour of employees.- Several customers with 10,000+ users in total.

Signalling the increasing cyber and fraud threats to the ING Wholesale Banking (ING WB) domain and its customers, I convinced senior management to allocate funds to investigate and implement mitigation measures. Ultimately I became the go to expert and obtained accountability for this domain within the business line.Additionally I represented the business line in various ING wide expert, policy and incident forums.Results:- Created and executed the cyber security, fraud prevention and Identity & Access Management strategy. - As cyber security and fraud prevention were still virgin territory, I initiated a working group developing and implementing policies and requirements for ING WB. - Introduced a new Mobile App based, Identity & Access solution for business customers.- Co-developed a bank wide Cybersecurity framework and eBanking Fraud controls.- Prevented multiple wholesale clients being defraud in various ways.

As an "extracurricular activity" I entered an idea into ING’s Innovation Bootcamp competition, to investigate and develop a lending platform designed to connect lenders to borrowers. Allowing ING to offer lending products without a balance sheet impact.I combined my efforts with a few others who had similar ideas and we were selected to partake in the Bootcamp.Result:- The team managed to reach the Bootcamp final and received the audience choice award. A part of team went on to further develop and test in the market.

Managed a team of Product Managers, accountability for ING WB's Dutch and strategic interactive payment & cash management channels.Results:- Implemented the new strategic online banking platform for all (mid)corporate customers of ING Wholesale Banking.- Decommissioned two legacy platforms.- Successfully migrated 40,000+ business customers.- Structurally reduced system failure downtime, increasing availability for customers to 99.9%.
