Sander de Leeuw is an User Experience Designer with +15 years of experience in designing interactive, user-friendly and visually attractive online services and products.Started as freelance webdesigner in 2009. Graduated as interaction designer in 2010. Started teaching design courses at The Hague University of Applied Sciences immediately after graduating. Joined Jungle Minds in 2011 as UX / UI designer and worked on a large variety of projects, ranging from large corporate clients, consumer brands and start-ups. After 5 years of working at agency-side, i joined Usabilla as Product designer in 2016, tasked with (re)designing one of the best User Feedback products in the market. Early 2018, after the birth of my first son, i moved my career closer to home in The Hague and worked with a couple of startups and tech-agencies to grow their UX competence. In 2019 i joined the Maersk Group as the UX Lead for Twill, a corporate scale-up in the logistics market for SME's. Over a period of three years i grew and managed the in-house design team of 8 designers, won two renowned design awards and led several strategic design initiatives.Currently employed at Nationale-Nederlanden as Strategic Product Designer, responsible for product and proposition development in retail banking.
