I began this entrepreneurial journey in April 2021. I noticed the untapped potential of mussel beard (byssus) waste and set out to turn it into a viable product. Having a demanding day job, I remained committed and put in much effort to discover the secret of processing byssus on a larger scale. Over the past two years, I meticulously tested countless samples and explored various methods by dedicating my mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to the development of Seastex Ltd. My passion and perseverance have laid the foundation for an innovative venture that will change the way we view byssus waste in the textile, interior and architecture industry.

Freelance interior and furniture designer located in London, with international work exposure. Accumulated 4 years of experience in Retail Design in New York, USA, and Tokyo, Japan. Possesses 6 years of expertise in Hospitality Design, contributing to projects like Adina and Sheraton Hotels refurbishments, with a specialisation in F&B interior design refurbishments for companies such as Mitsis and Four Seasons Hotels.

While working at WATG/Wimberly, I had the responsibility of creating various food and beverage concept and design packages for clients, including prestigious names like Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Mitsis Hotels Group, and numerous luxury hotels in Europe, Asia, and the UAE. Collaborating closely with the Landscape and Architecture teams at WATG, we successfully converted concepts into exquisite luxury dining and beverage experiences.

Project designer overseeing a substantial commercial development in Amsterdam, responsible for the entire process from concept to completion. Tasks include concept development, layout creation, management of drawing packages, and the production of detailed design packs. Additionally, responsible for maintaining document control in construction projects and coordinating with FF&E resources.

Working closely with project management to execute hospitality projects in the UK and EU. Developing thorough concept and drawing packages, including mood-boards, FF&E, detailing, elevations, and plans, following B3 standards. Crafting drawing packages that entail the complete design intent of all millwork and custom furniture. Ensuring ongoing coordination with external project consultants such as lighting, MEP, structural, signage, kitchen consultants, etc., to ensure the successful completion of a project.

Collaborated on the development of a total of 26 retail design projects in Japan and China over a span of three years, overseeing activities from concept design through planning, sketching, and rendering. Responsible for selecting directional images and finishes, with regular review sessions with the project leader and director.
