    Een merk is in mijn ogen veel meer dan een product of service. Het is ooit ergens begonnen, vanuit een visie, een droom. Het is er met een reden, en die is vaak veel minder plat dan simpelweg geld verdienen. Die verhalen intrigeren me, want daar zit de kern van een merk. Daar zit het karakter, de waarden, het bestaansrecht. Wanneer je alleen je product of service verkoopt bouw je nooit een relatie met je klant. Maar als je ze kunt meenemen in dat verhaal, in jouw droom, en je kunt ze laten voelen waar jouw merk voor staat, schep je een langdurige band.Om dat verhaal te vertellen is goede content essentieel. Toch zie je dat dit vaak inhoudelijk tegenvalt, en vervolgens gecompenseerd wordt door er veel mediabudget in te investeren om het gewenste bereik te realiseren. Ik vind dat vreemd. Je content is niet interessant genoeg om resultaat te behalen, dus ga je meer geld uitgeven om je doelgroep geforceerd te bestoken met iets wat ze niet interessant vinden. Klinkt niet heel logisch toch? Als je voldoende aandacht besteedt aan de boodschap en hoe deze wordt verteld, en daar dus ook slimmer investeert, hoef je dat bereik niet te forceren. Goede content dat intrinsiek wordt gedeeld is altijd krachtiger dan het opdringen van iets wat iemand eigenlijk niet wil zien.Ik vind ook dat je dat moet doorvoeren in je interne communicatie. Het is van groot belang dat je je werknemers mee kunt nemen in de essentie van je merk, en ze kunt inzetten om jouw waarden uit te dragen. Het verhaal is net zo belangrijk voor je werknemer als voor je consument. Een goede interne communicatiestrategie reflecteert direct op je hele merk.Ik kan niet wachten om jouw verhaal aan de wereld te vertellen.
