Reporting into the VP EMEA Infrastructure Services I was responsible for a distributed European and India based team, maintaining the European data centres, Azure Cloud and the key business applications. • Accountable for Plan, Build and 24x7x365 Run of Infrastructure (servers, storage, data centres, Azure cloud) domain in EMEA as part of Arrow’s global IT shared service organization• Maintaining and forecasting annual Capex / Opex budgets• Assessing and approving global IT standards • Managing a distributed team of Infrastructure specialists in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark) and India • Maintaining Arrow’s EMEA Active Directory, Single Sign on and MFA• Design and operate EMEA Citrix farms and Azure based Virtual Desktops to publish key business applications • Responsible for maintaining of and reporting on IT Operations framework (incident, change, etc) and regulatory compliance such as IAE3402 and ISO27001
