This project has a total value of € 33,4M and is characterized with complex security features and high containment laboratory for handling hazardous chemicals. I successfully managed the expectations of OPCW and responded to their needs and will be able to deliver the project in December 2022 within agreed timelines & budget and with user requirements met..

As project manager I was responsible for the construction of the very technical complex structure of Amare in The Hague. This cultural complex in The Hague of 55.000sqm contains, among others, a theatre, concert halls, restaurants and many classrooms, dance- and music studios. It does house the Dutch Royal Conservatoire, The ‘The Residentie Orkest’, orchestra from the Hague, the ‘Nederlands Dans Theatre’ (NDT) one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies and the Amare Foundation. The compact building shape resulted that various concert halls were projected above each other. The strict acoustics requirements lead to a heavy construction and mutual decoupling of various constructions, so that various parts within the complex have their own structure and were not supported on the underlying building volumes.Another complexity of this construction project was the existing underlaying parking garage which needed to remain partly in use during the construction. This gave enormous challenges to realise the heavy foundation of the complex under water level through the floor of the parking garage.The project was contracted through a Design, Building and 25 years Maintenance (DBM).55.000sqm. Contract value € 172MResponsibilities: As an employee of Boele & van Eesteren I was responsible for team management, design, outsourcing and construction of the very complex structure of this project.

Delivered, among others, the following projects:• Timmerhuis Rotterdam 2012-2015. Multifunctional office, museum, stores, parking and 84 apartments. Designed by OMA / Rem Koolhaas. Contract type: DBM, around 48.000sqm. Contract value € 100MAchievement: This project was finished 1 months before agreed timeline with a reasonable profit in a time of crisis in the construction;• Ministry of Defence 2011-2012. Complex Renovation of Historical main building of the Dutch Ministry of Defence, The Hague. Around 30.000sqm. Achievement: Before my assignment, this project was delayed and poorly managed. I completed it successfully. • ROC Leiden Lammerschans 2008-2011. Highschool of approximatively 51.000sqm.Achievement: Under my responsibility this project was finished 1 months before agreed timeline with an outstanding profit marge.For the above-mentioned projects, I was responsible for the construction, outsourcing, team management and reporting to head quarter.
