During my bachelor's study, I completed an e-business and software development internship at PIAS, Europe's largest independent record label. I took on the responsibility of developing the PIAS Listening Point, an innovative solution aimed at boosting online and offline CD sales through independent record shops.From conceptualization to implementation, design, and coding, I independently developed the PIAS Listening Point. This web based solution allowed local record shops to showcase new music albums on their websites using a customized Flash player. Visitors could listen to three audio tracks per album directly on the web. Additionally, I created a tailor-made CMS and MP3 asset management system, empowering PIAS to easily update their music offerings.The successful implementation of this strategy resulted in an increase in awareness and sales for PIAS offerings at the participating stores. At Hello Company I did various software development and server maintenance work such as building internal database-driven applications and IT maintenance tasks.My first internship quickly turned into a responsible role helping Hello Company implement and operate new telesales software, which required in house development of web-based interactive call scripts using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.The implementation resulted in an increase in revenue thanks to more calls per day, improved call registration and a better user experience for its sales agents.
