(1) Developed strategies internally with the leadership team in Bangalore and reported to the National Leader for Human Capital Global Mobility Practice in India. (2) Handled a huge portfolio of 30 clients and was responsible maintaining relationship with the top management and key stake holders. Also responsible for delivery of services on tax, social security, immigration and litigation matters. (3) Responsible for tax compliance work for about 750 assignees and lead a team of 25 tax professionals.(4) Lead the initiative to liaise and lobby with the regulatory authorities on the new law introduced on social security for international workers.(5) Advised clients on exchange control & immigration issues including setting up meetings with the various regulatory authorities like Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of External affairs etc.,(6) Stock incentive plans - Advised on tax and exchange control impact and India addendums to the global plans. (7) Advised on secondment arrangements based on legal precedence.(8) Conducted workshops on employment tax matter and effective compensation structuring for the HR professionals.
