As a project intern representing Deakin University, I had the opportunity to work within a group of 7 to help The Big Issue Australia with two of their major concerns:1) How to tackle the reduction in foot traffic which was initially caused by the covid impact to generate enough income for the Big Issue vendors. 2) Create an additional social enterprise for The Big Issue that creates new work opportunities for Australians experiencing homelessness, disadvantage or marginalisation.
