Main function involved preparation of Import general manifest (igm), filing igm in the all India customs (Mumbai, Gujarat, Cochin, Tuticorine, Kolkata, Goa, Kandla, Pipavav,Chennai) and giving all information to customers as per their requirement. Knowledge of all Import / Export handling related documents and all India customs edi .● Filing error free manifest for local & icd shipment in all India customs.● Using customs ICE-GATE online system for filing Igm. ● Sending container list to cfs dept. for movement of local delivery containers.● Sending public notice to EXIM for customers information.● Preparing Import advance list for the vessel and sending to vessel operations dept.● Co-ordinating with external customers for consol b/l.● Attending e-mails and customer calls for shipment details query. ● Preparaion of amendment letter for customs passing. ● Co-ordination with internal dept. (Operation’s / Sales / Cfs / Customer service.)● Maintaining weekly / Monthly report and vessel schedule.● Co-ordination with back office for data-quality.ACHIEVEMENTS : - ● Involved in project to transfer the all India documentation to back office.● Provided physical training to all users about documentation.● Made documentation and standing operating procedure (SOP) for all users and customers.

Vessel Operations Oct 1996 Work profile includes vessel operations at nhava sheva port along with an independent responsibility of vessel planning , cargo routing for all ports with minimum transit time by arranging connecting vessels.iii) Import Documentation / Customer Service; Currently working for Maersk Line , in Import Documentation dept. .
