 Conduct strategic engagement with internal stakeholders to identify processes that need to be changed & re-design processes that support the division’s mission  Assess trends and technology that boost transformation and where appropriate, and apply proactive interventions to exploit these trends. Establish contacts with leading public and/or private industry experts to implement engagement initiatives/ digitalization/ technical solutions. Assist in implementing system enhancements and ops tech changes. Design and develop application solutions that help officers to be more effective in their area of work

 Formulate and review policies and frameworks related to Foreign Domestic Workers (FDWs) with other policy units and divisions. Work alongside with other operational and policy divisions, and external agencies to integrate ground feedback for the development and implementation of Singapore-wide FDW initiatives. Conduct study/analysis on the evolving FDW and FDW employer landscape to keep abreast of the current happenings.  Attending to public queries, complaints, media replies and any other FDW related matters.  Develop of SOPs for my division, and to guide them through the implementation of policies.

 Audit, review and enhance operational policies and doctrine development for foreign manpower management.  Identify and evaluate the organization’s risk areas and provides input to the development of the Annual Audit Work Plan. Plan and conduct audits on a predetermined list of SOPs to ensure compliance and minimal gaps. Prepare Audit Reports with findings and recommendations to improve current processes.  Work with other departments to formulate detailed action plans to improve current processes. Conduct ad-hoc Post-Incident Inquiries or handle complaints, and provide recommendations for follow-up actions

 Assigned to lead team of Junior Officers, having the responsibility to manage the team and daily ground operations at the checkpoint.  Investigate and interview cases of goods or people entering or exiting Singapore. Required to make crucial and accurate decisions instantaneously. Involved in drafting policies and procedures with regards to any changes or new implementation. Team Leader at Tuas Checkpoint’s Operations & Intelligence (O&I) unit. Participating and conducting joint operations/initiatives with other Home Team Agencies such as Singapore Police Force (SPF), Criminal Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), Singapore Customs (SC) and Internal Security Department (ISD). Obtained pass in Law Exam required by ICA.  Appointed as the Assistant Chief Sports Convener of ICA's Staff Welfare Community (SWC).
