Serve as voting member on the Board of Directors for the Texas Apartment Association.Schedules and organizes membership training seminars, general membership meetings and membership campaigns.Responsible for reporting of compliance reports, financials, budgeting, and legislative activity concerning fair housing to the local Board of Directors and general membership.Serves as spokesperson for the Association in conjunction with the President.Attends meetings and maintains liaison with the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association.Ensures that records such as minutes, etc., are maintained for all meetings of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, and ensures that copies of the minutes of each meeting are provided to the members of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors prior to the next scheduled meeting.Assembles and distributes a local monthly market survey to participating members.

Responsible for Resident accounts, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, budgeting and resident relations. Oversee leasing contracts and applications, move out reports and inspections, make-ready inspections, and comply with Fair Housing.
