I have been in the hospitality industry for an estimated 27 years. I really appreciate the opportunity to meet and build new relationships everyday. I am so grateful for the many awesome experiences I have had in this industry from full service managing a medium sized office to limited service being a one person show to managing operations and staff for smaller properties. From new properties to weathered properties......they have all created and weaved a great appreciation and love for this industry.

Director Of SalesCourtyard By Marriott - Florence, Ky 2007 - 2009Florence, KyAs Director of Sales for this property my primary focus was to maintain and regain lost and new LNR/BT accounts in the marketplace. I was also responsible for finding weekend business, playing an active role in the revenue management component, booking and managing one meeting room for up to 50 people. I was able to build a nice corporate LNR base prior to my departure and saw nice increases and gains year over year in both overall hotel and my specific group and LNR segments.

Assistant General Manager / Director Of SalesBest Western Franklin Park Suites - Polaris Oct 2001 - 2005Columbus OhioI opened this hotel in 2001 as the director of sales. It was a really incredible "boutique" hotel in the Polaris area of Columbus, Ohio. Large suites, lap pool, unique English style pub....everything was first class including the staff - a blend of every nationality that made this an amazing experience! We were strategically located across from the then Polaris Amphitheater and nestled among the up and coming business district in the Polaris area. About a year into my position here the owner asked me to take on managing the operations of the 64 rooms suite property along with my sales duties. Again, due to the amazing staff we had an incredible couple of years and were very successful! Sales were tremendous and I left this position when moving out of the area...leaving behind many close friendships that were acquired through this position. Both staff and business associates!

Director Of SalesResidence Inn By Marriott - Easton Dec 1999 - Sep 2001Columbus, OhioI was in the opening office and did pre-sales for this new Residence Inn in the Easton Town Center. Fantastic opportunity. I went out on the road for about five months prior to opening selling the property. I also hired and managed one inside sales manager. I oversaw, set up and booked one meeting room for up to 75. A great opportunity! The Easton Town Center had just opened and was the "hot spot" in Columbus. Unique shopping center inside and outside with cobblestone streets, restaurants, bars and movie theater and the company I worked for opened the Residence Inn on one side and a large convention Hilton on the other side. Great place to sell. The only challenge at this property was to keep the ESOC close to 50% with the demand for the area.

I was Director of Sales for this 240 room hotel with meeting space to accommodate up to 300 people. The hotel when I arrived had a sales coordinator and a catering manager that left almost immediately. In the short time I was there I fully staffed the office and directed the sales effort for one sales manager, catering manager, sales coordinator and myself.
