I spent many years in retail and then moved into management with Sanger Harris...then Foleys Dept stores until they closed Preston Center Location. I then was lucky to move to Ticketmaster where I was the Ticket Center Manager until they moved our division to Fl. Guess I was blessed because I was loosing the last of my hearing and the pain in my body was just to much to continue in my position anyways. I did get the privilege of working in the box office at the Frisco Rough Riders for the opening season and if my body had not decided enough was enough I would have remained to this day. Pefect Job people and baseball.Becoming disabled led me to sewing which has become my life saver. I am a self taught sewer and pattern designer. I have learned by trying and failing and then trying again. The patterns I write are just like I speak and think.I love all styles from Primitives to Country, from Hunting to Sports. You will see it all in my works and patterns. I sew to get through the pain so there may be times I create a whole lot and other times nothing at all.
