Post Verizon AWS Wavelength Public MEC partnership announcement extensively studied it and team built first edge and cloud infrastructure as a code automation with EKS. Post Verizon and Microsoft Private MEC partnership announcement enabled first edge use case of factory QA with partner developing computer vision service(s). Overlast 12+ months work tirelessly with engineers, devops team to build scalable multi cloud deployment - CICD, operational with logs and metrics VESA – Verizon Edge Service Architecture enabling Verizon’s entry into MSP – Managed service provider space. Presented VESA value prop and edge costing model at Senior Vice President Level.

Organizational changes lead to merger of two different groups between SmartyCity and Thingspace. Leadership put trust in me to build one DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE team(s) and manage 10 million dollar+ Cloud and tools budget. With a focused culture driven approach built one DevOps and SRE team. Performed gap analysis as well as prepared future roadmap and presented to senior leadership. Introduced true CICD, APM tool chain, Observability tools chain etc.Launched new product line – CareSmart – Senior Watch. Migrated massive, key platform MDM – Mobile Device Management to scalable cloud architecture. Streamlined dysfunctional SRE team spanning across USA and India. Launched ThingSpace Intelligence AI/ML based product line and datalake.

Post Sensity acquisition by Verizon lead hiring and building team for the growth; established offshore center in Hungary and India. Lead launch of multiple product line(s) from DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE perspective on Public and Gov cloud spanning across smart lighting, parking and public safety. Lead product development of PublicSafety productline. Lead the very first organization wide CJIS/NIST compliance of public safety product lines for the government sector.

Being the first hire put together DevOps organization charter and vision, got required funding for hiring key positions, frugal but effectively lead hiring of key resources under tight budget. Supported legacy single instance monolithic platform in production; lead architecture and development of new microservice based, distributed IoT platform - NetSense working with senior architect and got momentum towards it. Part of key technical due diligence team pre-post acquisition. Today NetSense is a flagship SmartCity platform at Verizon.

Tivo/Rovi Corp put together a brand new org to launch API first initiative offering rich media experiences for Smart TV, Mobile devices providing capabilities such movie guide, search, and discovery to 110 million viewers, 220 million consumer devices. Lead the launch of (https://developers.tivo.com) Tivo Cloud Service (TCS) from DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE perspective. Launched and operationalized first offering in 12-14 months; part of customer success actively migrated first 5 initial customers.

As a part of business units merger was selected to lead migration of on-premise ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) and Capture-Transform-Share platform to Private OpenStack cloud providing scalable solution so that larger, billion $ Web-Ex could integrate and take advantage of it. Led the effort both as a Scurmmaster and a technical leader working with team of PhDs.

Joined the Emerging Technology Business Unit greenfield initiative to develop low-latency embedded media processing platform. Strengthen and lead VoIP team which impeding its release, delivered four consecutive releases which are deployed at Fortune 500 companies.

Lead the development of CCXML standards based call control engine with team(s) based in both USA and Canada. Represented the organization in the CCXML body.

GoUAskMe was a Location-based mobile voice search, when only feature-phones were prevalent. Led efforts from concept to market delivery. Conceptualized the idea and via extensive market research narrowed down to four key offerings of real-time traffic, gas prices, real-estate, and events info. Presented to 12 content providers to form strategic content-sharing and advertising partnership and partnered with big industry names. Built a top-notch engineering team of five. Led the team in architecture, development, UE, testing, and customer feedback. Issued RFP and negotiated contracts with Voice platform service provider. In just six months team successfully launched the product; with limited budget increased media and marketing/university student reach out. Gained sizable call volume. Presented to VC firms.

Core Software Development roles at CIENA developing Core Optical network product, Aspect Communication for IVR and InfoObjects EMS/NMS.

Built first web based version of Remedy Action Request System to enable workflow management from browser. Lead offshore team based out of India; visited USA to represent the offshore organization; lead successful launch of the product.
