Led the vision, strategy and roadmap for BluePrint’s healthcare-related IT platforms through collaboration with marketing, sales and product development teams, as well as BluePrint’s customers and advisors. Managed key partnerships to support BluePrint’s vision and strategy, specifically related to advancing healthcare through the use of information technology. Served as the healthcare quality subject matter expert for BluePrint’s customers in the areas of healthcare quality improvement and performance measurement, working closely with customers to create effective, efficient and measurable healthcare improvement initiatives. Represented BluePrint and personal interests at local, regional and national events, presenting on topics related to healthcare quality and information technology.

Camden, Nj

Responsible for oversight and development of the Camden HIE in order to provide maximum benefit to Camden residents and healthcare providers. Focused on the vision, strategy and operations of the Camden HIE and strategic partnerships to further the Coalition’s mission. Staff Administrator for the Camden HIE Steering Committee, which members included the CIOs of five regional healthcare systems to manage the overall policies and governance of the Camden HIE; Served as HIE liaison to the Coalition’s Board of Directors. Member of the New Jersey HIE Steering Committee, created through the NJ HIT Commission and focused on advancing the adoption of EMRs and connection of HIEs across the state. Led the contracting and HIE implementation with new data and funding partners, including the Camden County Correctional Facility, which provided the county jail with its first electronic view of inmate healthcare data and generated new revenue stream. Developed the roadmap for outreach to partner organizations and community stakeholders; planning for expansion opportunities to ensure ongoing growth and sustainability of the HIE. Managed key HIE educational initiatives, as well as organizational and departmental budgets, including $1 million federal grant. Represented the Coalition and the HIE at local and national conferences and meetings, in addition to activities sponsored by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).

Greater Philadelphia Area

Progressive roles related to program and product management, external relations, and business development to advance ABIM's mission, specifically focused on performance improvement. Served as the liaison between clinical content committees and application developers in the creation of over 15 Practice Improvement Modules (PIM). Led expansion of knowledge assessment program, generated additional revenue. Transitioned to an external relations role, working closely with certifying boards, medical societies, healthcare systems, and health plans to incorporate quality improvement into existing performance measurement, pay-for-performance, and quality improvement programs. Managed a multi-board collaboration to develop standards for quality improvement projects in major healthcare systems and organizations. Led a team of external relations staff and managed operational budgets to support outreach efforts. Represented ABIM at several regional and national healthcare conferences through presentations and educational sessions, as well as served on several internal and external committees to advance performance measurement through board certification.
