Hi, I'm Emma! I'm currently a junior studying Computer Science at Binghamton University. Most recently, I completed an internship at the NYISO as an IT Infrastructure & Operations intern. During this time, I gained hands-on experience configuring and managing business continuity plans within ServiceNow. My responsibilities included creating and refining templates, automating workflows, and developing dashboards to streamline plan management. I also deepened my understanding of IT department structures, led key meetings, and enhanced my presentation skills. This experience also provided insights into the future of energy in New York. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of effective communication and enthusiasm in professional settings.To satisfy my interests in UX/UI design, I joined the Binghamton Tech Collective as a UX Team Member. Recently, our team, in collaboration with the software development group, successfully launched an app that facilitates the buying and selling of goods on campus, providing students with a seamless and user-friendly platform. Last summer, I completed Harvard's CS50x course to enhance my skills in coding languages such as Python, C, and HTML. This course allowed me to delve into new areas as well, including SQL and Javascript, broadening my technical skillset.
