My name is Sandra Alonso Paz, graduated in Software Engineering with a Master's in Computational Biology. Throughout my technical training, my curiosity has increased about the infinite applications of new technologies in other fields and the way they enrich and be enriched by all of them.For this reason, I wanted to start working in a multidisciplinary and cutting-edge environment that would allow me to see what else computer science could offer in other fields. It was then that I started working for the National Cancer Research Center in collaboration with HM Hospitales and the Complutense University of Madrid. During this time, my tasks included; the pre-processing of the RNA sequencing databases, the generation of prediction models through the use of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, and the validation of the results in conjunction with the clinical and scientific team. These tasks have allowed me to take my first steps in what I have decided will be my professional career: data science.Therefore, I am currently looking for job opportunities that allow me to continue developing in the area of ​​data science, preferably in the healthcare sector. Regarding my skills and knowledge, it is worth highlighting my experience in environments, programming languages ​​, and data analysis and my adaptability, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
