• Assist the Operations Manager as needed daily• Compile weekly reports on “run outs” and “pull points” in the South Texas division for review with the Vice President of Operations and discuss our strategies for improvement• Investigate any inquires or complaints from customers such as shortages or mixtures• Create a working schedule that utilized approximately 48 drivers with 16 trucks• Create a rotating 24/7 schedule for the office personnel • Approve or deny day off requests and vacation request and update a calendar for all employees• Work two nights a week from home when there was not a night dispatcher available• Dispatch “special project” loads when new business was acquired• Responsible for ordering and maintaining office and safety supplies• Work directly with the shop foreman to maintain all materials needed such as oil and grease for the trucks• Reply to all emails from customers on daily basis anywhere from 30 to 100 emails a day• Participate in a weekly company wide managers meeting conference call• Responsible for training any new dispatchers • Review and complete driver “Manual Pays” daily in TMW to ensure proper pay

• Dispatch between 40-50 drivers on a day shift and night shift.• Manage distribution tracking, logistics, and coordinating for terminal operations and delivery• Accountable for conducting in-depth research and problem solving in the event deliveries are in anyway misapplied or not completed• Communicate with drivers at all times with use of NEXTEL two way radios.• Schedule hours available on a 70 hour work week daily.• Inventory control for several major gas companies ex. HEB Co. and Valero using internet programs such as Telapoint and Fuel Terminal• Assists and supports the Site Manager in complying with contractual scheduling requirements
